Flower Of May

Flower Of May ballad

Orange flower of may
Bright burning fire display
Big bunches in bouquets form
Decorating the Earth they fall upon

Rain and sunshine
The season brings
Pretty green beans
Like rattles dangling

Standing beauty beside the sidewalk
Like fire engines its canopy top
Flowery umbrella shade for relief
Far in the forest its a Jackals wedding

Oh beauty May flower
Pleas do not go away
Your fiery orange canopy of pride
Is crumpling and drying
July and August is crying
September will forget you in time
Eight months is so long to see you again
Flame of the forest orange flower of May
