Love Poem 1

Love Poem 1 short poem

I keep you trapped
between my jaws.
my silence breeds
more silence
in the spaces
between my teeth.
I let you witness
my infinitude.
I let my madness
consume us.

Do you
fear me

I keep you close
between my jaws
my gaping teeth
like borders
like wrenches
I hold a prison
in my mouth.

There will be
no gratitude
for the brave,
no compassion
for the dead here,
no more words,
no symbolisms,
no sleight of hand,
you cannot escape
my body

You sit on my tongue
like a curse,
a blasphemy.
I carry you
my back bends
my spine breaks
in exhaustion,
in silence.

I may have
loved you once
you are dead now
and an end
is an end
is an end.
