Untitled prose poem

Uploaded by Gaurav Sharma

I had the time held by its wings.
The moist, silken,grainy impressions,
still linger on my finger tips.
The moments slipped . Fluttered.
Was it insanity that took over me?
Or was it a shadow of all desires so
stubbornly refusing to leave me?
I touched her unabated.
Letting the latent manifest itself.
She squeaked and moaned and gazed
intently.
I had the time held by its wings..
Knowing the known again makes me
break into a thousand pieces.
I retreat into my shell trying to collect
the moments that …lingered,
On my finger tips.
The moist , silken , grainy impressions..
The time had slipped.
