Like The Sea

Like The Sea short poem

Uploaded by RWZ

To the gentle heart, have courage.
Through trials and chaos of the ever changing wind-
Let your heart be like a river ,
Ever guided, ever flowing.
To the fragile heart, have courage.
Through starless and blackened nights
That cover us-
Let your heart be like the sun,
Ever alive, ever aflame.
To the lonely heart, have courage.
Through the solitude and the solemn
That envelope our being-
Let your heart be like the moon ,
Alone but alight, with beauty that prevails.
To the broken heart, have courage.
Through the pieces of edged glass that bludgeon our soles-
Let your heart be like the sea,
Ever open, ever brave, ever free.

Like An Old Song short poem

Walking in mental fog, you become a swaying tree. In mistiness one becomes lonely like a blackbird. Hollyhocks would wait, till the sun comes out. December rain brings the gift― of sleet on lips. ————————————– Walking in mental fog, you
