Schadenfreude

Schadenfreude short poem

Just needle on all of their pain,
Is there something that you’d like to gain,
But its all amiss when she plants her devilish kiss,
After all, somebody’s misfortune is someone’s momentary bliss.

Well the Schadenfreuder never sleeps,
At least not until she’s seen them weep,
‘Cause every now and then she likes to feed,
On a healthy diet of mild sorrow with touch of melancholy.

In all their tears grow wider his concealed smile,
While Still rendering false comfort and ill-intentioned advice,
The more they fall, the louder turns his sinister hiss,
For, how could one give such joyous spectacle an apathetic miss.

Well the Schadenfreuder never sleeps,
At least not until he’s seen them weep,
‘Cause every now and then he likes to feed,
On a healthy diet of mild sorrow with touch of melancholy.
