One Moment’s Disaster

One Moments Disaster short poem

On one cloudy afternoon, the rumbling thunder
along with the flashes of lightening, piercing
cracked walls of a house in burning,
cows died and fried, a school-girl fainted
and the earth is washed out by heavy downpour..

A chubby charming girl, studious and intelligent
fell in love with her lively classmate ,brilliant
regular in exchanging with her his tender love
reached the ears of the humble parents who
worried and stunned to digest their humane love
but stumbled in their verdict that devoured them sure.

An employed dedicated wife ever faithful
to her busy husband who never felt
her selfless service to him and his kids,
the stress on her work blocks her way
to home on one evening that burnt his anger
of doubt that strangled her sincere life forever.

A playful girl, shrewd but obstinate
to watch T.V.,a pretext for her father’s anger
to raise his gruffy words of displeasure
pushed her to the world of agony
that hastened her to embrace the doom.
