Judy short poem

I hear her giggles and my heart-
leaps with beats before my kisses.
She knows she puts my nerves to test-
but I know she is my favorite mess.

She runs around until her hair-
sticks to her forehead and out of breath.
I chase her around the table in a dare-
of diaper change or a bath.

I grew her in my loins under my heart.
never did I think I’d lose her.
Now all I have are memories-
of her hair flying as she runs-
her talking eyes and laughter.

Nobody’s perfect but she was to me.
I felt perfect because I was in her eyes.
To many she is a daughter to me-
she is my one and only Judy.
