At Stake

At Stake ballad

She smiled for a deep need of admiration
Her world was of fantasy and delusion
Her senses of mental fragmentation
She welcomed someone
When no one was there
She never knew when she was sick
Like demons tugging the stigma of a delicate shoflower
She made her bed for three each night
And called to her husband of imagination
The pillow was her little one
She tapped it like, she tapped his behind
Yelling go to sleep my son
Why must papa wait so long
Her world was beautiful without a care
So, simple thou
Except for those who did not know

Her mind is symphony all day of acts and sounds
Her palm was her smartphone
Sometimes I would hear her speak
For hours like she had no teeth
So thankful when I hear her say,
Go to hell you crazy swine
Don’t call me all the time
I got to make my bed for three
So simple thou
Except for those who did not know
The lack of empathy
Of a Schizophrenia

Love at Stake

Love at Stake short poem

To love Or to be loved That’s the question. Not that it was always like this before. It used to be much easier To love and to be loved with the beat When we used to believe in us. Yet
