I Believe I Can Fly

I Believe I Can Fly short poem

I’ve got many obstacles in my life,
but I’ll never give up.

Once when I planned to fly,
I thought that I will reach high
but I just got a chance to try.
I ignored it as my first attempt.

When I got a second chance,
I ignored it again,
and I flew only a few meter.
I didn’t realized the value of opportunities.

And when I realized the value of it,
it was late,
I begged god to give me a last chance,
but how could he trust me?
When he had trust on me, I didn’t saved it.
Everything came to an end!

But who says that god is not kind?
If he would not, then he would not give this last chance,
Somebody has rightly said,
that every parent does best to his child,
and so did my god to me.

Now I am not waiting for opportunities,
cause they themselves are coming.
Now I’ll spread my wings and fly high,
so that I can become a legacy,
Oh god! thank you for giving me this eternal life!
