In My Blurred Vision

In My Blurred Vision short poem

I saw despair & sadness; loss of hope for a strong household,
Days & nights turned into months,
A dark cloud surrounded my abode,
Their sad eyes told it all,
I saw love in their eyes, a loss too hard to swallow,
I cried along

In another episode, I saw happy souls,
They divided my stuff, ravenously,
Their words wounded my poor heart,
Then I saw a small boy, bare feet in the hot sun,
Tears & mucus all over him,
My heart cried out loud,
Deep in the woods, lost in the vast world,
At the mercy of wild beasts

Then I saw my orchard, where he laid,
Land cruisers & hammers, big guys with pens & papers,
My land being auctioneered,
I boiled in anger, when did humanity die?
I begged the heavens for one more chance,
To make everything right,
No other way out

Then I saw myself, in a bed deep asleep,
People in white & blue with tools,
Sewing my divided flesh & fixing my broken bones,
All holding onto God’s grace,
My despair was nothing compared to my passion to live,
Harmed with love & revenge,
I saw a ray of light in my last blurred vision moment
