Winner short poem

Photo by Brian Giesen

Just a random thought came.
Words of praise recognising my name.
My body rushing to the Hall of Fame.
But now I realised I was in a game;
a game in a dream to blame.

Maybe? Maybe ……
the dream is the real sinner.
Or perhaps it’s a saint,
that just announced a winner.

And again,
a thought came like an Olympic runner,
whispering in my brain
“that’s true sir.You are a winner.”
