Parallels short poem

Uploaded by meharanaokar

In her eyes-

I was alone
You were insane
I thought I was different
You said we were the same

I started to help you
Investing more
You pulled me inside
And slammed the door

The deeper I fell
The tighter you held me
Until inside the cave
Was all I could see

You showed me the craze
Brought out my wild side
I was Quinn as Dr. Jekyll
You called out Mr. Hyde

You tried to kill me
I shot bullets at you
It’s messed up, it’s a love-hate
But it’ll always be us two.

In his eyes-

You were alone
I’ve been insane
You were so naïve
You fell for the game

You offered me help
I gladly agreed
I knew how to twist you
And make you scream

The deeper you fell
The stronger I grew
Until being the madness
Was all that you knew

I showed you the maze
I showed you my side
You were Quinn as Dr. Jekyll
I showed you Mr. Hyde

You became a weakness
So I tried to kill you
I’m messed up, it’s a love hate
But it’ll always be us two.
