A Benign Place

A Benign Place short poem

Uploaded by Simranjit Singh

In a story that i wanna tell
there are tracks
often traveled
but for different reasons

but i travel
to find myself
For when i first visited
they held a part of me captive

and no, i do not go to retrieve it
rather i go
to leave some more
or to pluck some of those tracks, if i can

then again,
only the former is feasible
for if i take’em with me
they won’t be the same

a house is not a house without the doors
and neither is a place without the roads
I reach there
that should be enough.

The Hiding Place short poem

Deep into the night, I can hear the hiding place calling. Its canopy soaring high into the clouds, And its green carpet spreads from horizon to horizon. It is where many mysteries hide. It allows a child’s imagination to create

My Mind Is A Place

My Mind Is A Place long poem

My mind is a place, and often I’m told Those who would venture are far more than bold Vast twisting caverns of darkness and light Thoughts in a jumble with no wrong or right Fear and disorder, perfection and truth
