Until You

Until You short poem

Uploaded by Sayantan Dasgupta

Your oceanic eyes, deeper than the sunset.
I lost the universe in your deific gaze.
Eastern sky is dark, sunbeam left the land.
Your hair spread over the highest mountain.
The words you utter are more than just words.
They break the silence that death brings to the world.
My heart beats to the sound of your footstep.
I follow the sky when you walk over my existence.
How could I lie, when I hold your name in my voice.
How could I fall, if your essence leads my way.
I remember the way galaxy holds its stars.
I remember you, as Gravity remembers its centre.
My song will remain a symphony without cadence.
It will immortalise the wind that carries my breath.
I carry your heart within the shell of my soul.
Like a bird that flies but never reaches its home.
