So Scandalous

So Scandalous long poem

Don’t take your faded floral
Out the front door
Your dirty laundry
From this ship to that shore
Don’t tell your lovers’ quarrel
To the neighbor next door
It’s a pity there are people who prey on
The personal problems of others
Some stories so private
There should be a law
The shattered views
Of those who themselves have been
Battered and bruised
Emotionally some physically
So painfully
And probably still so raw
Hidden wounds can hurt
So much more
Such scandalous stories so twisted
They rock some poor soul
Right down to the core
Tall tales told and tossed around
Like a train from town to town
Or a high priced whore
A network of distorted views
From minds that are in the gutter
Drenched in bin juice
Glistening in the mid day sun
So rotten to the core
Violated expressions so scandalous
It’s a third world war
A score to be settled
With good and evil
Both knocking right now
At your door
To spread words of encouragement
Or rumors so scandalous
To squeeze the marrow
Of your very soul
And place you at the precipice
Of hell`s wide open door
Your spiritual duty
Not just another chore
