Gratitude

A blooming bud you are
A beautiful flower in the becoming
There is a spark in your eyes
A friendly gesture in your smile
The days of interaction that we have had
I have learnt a lot from you as well
The best days I have spent, are with you my dear.
The loveliest memories I take in my heart, as I leave
With the hope and the promise to meet you again
Somewhere, sometime…. as the world is too small.
I want to thank you from the core of my heart
For having showered on me, with such pure love.
You are an inspiration to me as well
My prayers are always with you, so that you touch the sky.
But, remember always to be a good human being first
Because that is what would count at the end of the day.
