If You Want It, Come And Get It

If You Want It, Come And Get It long poem

Well and if you like what you see
then c’mon and make a move on me
swallow your pride and don’t be shy…
Yeah IF YOU WANT IT COME AND
GET IT, I swear you won’t regret it
we can dance and dance and dance
’til closing time then we can take it
to your place or mine and make
a little magic oh no baby I promise
you won’t regret it so IF YOU WANT
IT COME AND GET IT…
oh ‘cuz I can see you staring at me
from across the crowded room and
I’m hoping you will get your courage
up to introduce yourself very soon
and who knows this might be both
our lucky night ‘cuz we both know
what we are doing here tonight so…
IF YOU WANT IT COME AND
GET IT, I swear you won’t regret it
we can dance and dance and dance
’til closing time then we can take it
to your place or mine and make
a little magic oh no baby I promise
you won’t regret it so IF YOU WANT
IT COME AND GET IT…
IF YOU WANT IT COME ON, COME ON
NOW AND COME AND GET IT!

It Comes

It Comes short poem

Waiting under the opaque moon a primeval instinct takes over you and you start arriving. A black bone renders the ash on your forehead and you complete the circle – reaching childhood; you start climbing the ladder, for instantaneous release.

It Approaches

It Approaches prose poem

As the singularity draws near, I look on with trepidation. What lies beyond i do not know. A technological marvel some say, Nirvana it will be. Others say a dystopian future awaits. No one knows for sure! I think back

I Plead, I Just Want To Feel Alive.

I Plead, I Just Want To Feel Alive. long poem

Sometimes, I just want to fly away and sit by a coast dotted with tiny creeks and gaze at the pebbles sleeping peacefully at the bottom of the stream while drenching my feet in water as pure as an infant.

Tell It Like It Is

Tell It Like It Is long poem

Again I wake in this wretched place Where the devil glares with grimaced face Reading my heart, stripping it bare Savoring the scent of the secrets there I’m slipping and sliding, the ice too thin Carefully creeping, lest I fall

Make It Quick

Make It Quick sonnet poems

Leave me behind, like they did. Self blame with no more to gain. Pain lingers around my neck like a bib. A childish wreck, worse than a train. Come back and finish what you started! This body keeps spilling dark
