Destined To Be Orphan

Destined To Be Orphan prose poem

A Newly born infant was ruthlessly abandoned on the street
to face the vagaries of nature and fend for itself by its ruthless parents

A good Samaritan took sympathy on the abandoned toddler
and adopted the child and nourished the under nourished child

Day and night he nurtured the child
His money flowed like water to up bring the child
Welfare of the child became his sole aim in life
As Time elapsed the tender bud grew up to blossom
and turned up to become an attractive flower

People around were bewildered on seeing her enchanting beauty
People gathered every day to have a look at her enchanting beauty

That infant child is none but the depleted children’s park let to disintegrate by the power in be

Person who rehabilitated the dying park is the anchor of the now resurgent park

Once abandoned park is now blossoming with greenery all round and flower tree aplenty coupled with water fall, fountains, children’s playing equipments,an Amby theatre etc. All this due to tireless and selfless work done by that messiah of green revolution

As Time rolled by the evil Eye of the Power in be set on this wonderful park
Using their clout they snatched the now blossoming park from the anchor
or rather saviour of that abandoned park solely to make illegal money out of the much in demand park

The hapless anchor is now disheartened and has disappeared from the scene much hurt and disillusioned
Without his aghast presence and care the park now looks haunted and is back as an orphan set for sale
