World Through Your Eyes

World Through Your Eyes long poem

I flew to a great height
Working hard day and night
With pride all along my flight
With everyone to cite

Fate stuck with a smite
cut the chord of my kite
Which was thick and tight
And I fell with all my might

I was completely lost
As everything frost
With nothing to dost
As my life became a toss

I slowly lost my sight
Of electing wrong from right
And was Robbed outright
And no one to hear my plight

You came into my lonely life
Turned me into a brave knight
With strength as my knife
Plunging through the life’s strife
Which hit me like a terrible rife

With you came a ray of light
Making the path clear and bright
For a strong and dedicated fight
With a hope to make life upright

You made me wise
Taught me to think twice
Before I place the dice
In order to win the prize

So As the time flies
I slowly began to rise
From the fall and the lies
The pain and the cries
After a heartbreaking demise

Now I want to fly back to the skies
A bond with you made me devise
With a dream to suffice
And a task to reprise
As I once again emprise
Of the world I saw through your eyes
