Fragile Resolve

Fragile Resolve short poem

I stray often
often from the path
I know is right,
it chips often
the “will”
I know could be my might.
I repeat them
no more can they be called
“mistakes”,
my fragile, my flimsy resolve
every now and then
it shakes!
I commit,
I repent,
I commit
the cycle continues…
the boundaries
that never got erected
owing to my formative abuse.
Have I lost it?
Can something be done?
I wonder on the possibility
if this battle could ever be won.
I don’t want to concede
—the fight within—
not as yet,
torrential currents
beneath a calm surface
you wouldn’t notice
I bet.

Fragile Identity

Fragile Identity short poem

A blossom plant From distant yard Whispered in grief To the flies around : Would you love With same delight When I grow Gray from green? A Sparrow, chirps With perplexed gaze, From profound pride To none but air In

The Fragile Facade

The Fragile Facade long poem

How frail, in truth, is the world that we tread The captains and kings predicting calm seas ahead As they’re riding high, upon their silver spoons Laughing, as below the world withers; dying blooms How thin the membrane of life’s
