Voting Card: The Card That Holds The Future

Voting Card: The Card That Holds The Future prose poem

Waking up to the first of February, comes the golden key
2017, breeds the shinning key
A key that holds the future key
A future that unlocks the door to 2017
A future that lies in your voting card at eighteen
Yes, the card birth the key

Yeah! The road to 2017 begins with a voter card
No cash or clash to get the card
All eligible citizens benefit only one vote with the card
Personalities, sympathy, elitism and authority don’t know the card
Only symbols of equality, civility, peace, unity and patriotism on the card
A card that represents the hopeful future
A card that marks against sentiments, hates, interests, corruption and vouches for choice candidacy
Only the card can caution and decide your legislature and presidency

Without the card, the future remains elusive
Our nation remains divisive
National prosperity and reconciliation remains delusive
Economic and social transformation seems unresponsive
Behold, the key to the future lies on the card
I see the key to transformation, solution, anticorruption and actions right on the card
Only the card knows the key to make the impactful change
A change that proves the difference
Let’s get the card and show the difference!
