I Am A Poker Face

Yes yes,  its me, the face with no feelings
It helps me a lot when in public dealings
I show I am happy,when inside I am crying
When I am hurt and down, as if I am dying
When I am happy I have to pretend
That theres so much I have to mend

When we show what we feel
Our emotions tend to kneel
And actions they will yield
Against the good and the bad
Who wish I fall and they be glad
Will take me for granted and use me
And when am not thither will abuse me

I wish to be an open book for everyone to see
Nothing to hide or worry just be free
Just plain chatter like the raindrops patter
Falling on the leaves of trees
Or on the ground on grass
And glow bright and pretty with glee
No reservations no guessing games
With all people whatever the names

But then I decide and its for real
That I will not show what I feel
People will put you down when you are shining
Jealous they will be when you are gold mining
So show them your falsehood even though
Its not you and its obviously not true
But what chances do you have
When you are judged by some
And they do not have an ounce of idea
Of how far you have come
By your innocent chatter
Information they gather
Mock at you and put you in tatter
Then you wonder why you did that to yourself
Repenting for letting them with open arms into your bookshelf

So pokerface here I come
Now you shall see
I show not what you wish to see
When I am sad and when I am shining pretty with glee
The secret to my mind is in this key
Be a Poker Face its me but not me

Face To Face short poem

In the valley of blasts a row of jacarandas tall, sweet smelling, shed blue petals endlessly. A colossus spread on wounds of earth. A small girl with pellets in her belly was searching her wounded mother. Essence of sorrow helps
