The Thing That….

The Thing That.... long poem

The Thing that helps me see… makes the world blurry.
The Thing that makes me laugh…. makes me cry.
The Thing that fixed me… is broken.
The Thing that I try to show off… is terrible.
The Thing they call me… has already gone to my head.
The Thing that helps me breathe… is taking control.
The Thing that I love playing… is becoming a challenge.
The Thing that calms me down… makes me rage

Life is changing for me; making me realize the good and bad side of things. You can’t be happy if you think everything is bad….

The Thing that helps me see… made me see things I couldn’t.
The Thing that makes me laugh… makes my day brighter.
The Thing that fixed me… lets me fix him.
The Thing that I try to show off… some people really enjoy.
The Thing that they call me… makes me feel loved.
The Thing that helps me breathe… lets me do more.
The Thing that I love playing… is getting funner and funner.
The Thing that calms me down… connects me closer to my friends.

There is always two sides of things, both good and bad. Choose one but you’ll be happier with one more than the other.
