Paradise In The Fields

Paradise In The Fields short poem

It’s so refreshing to see a stretching lush lush green field,
Cool summer breeze blowing leisurely,
Flora and fauna blending together merrily,
Fields filled with thousands of glittering flowers,
Which have been washed by the previous night’s showers.
Along with the butterflies they sway and play in the day,
The strong wind blows the dry leaves away.
The watch the dark blue sky with the vibrantly glowing stars at night.
The waves, the tides and the sand see the same from the bay,
But with the flowers around
It’s a pleasure, a mesmerising, an enchanting sight.
In the fields there are no predator, prey or stray.
But only peace, harmony and serenity lay.
The chirping birds gliding over the fields love the warmth of the sun rays falling on them.
After all summers are so much fun!
Eventually after a few months everything will be cold, damp and freeze.
In winters they are covered with the thick falling snow,
They think to themselves,’Cold times come and go’
And cheer saying,”There’s always a little high, little low”
