Love-a Thing To Keep With You

Love a Thing To Keep With You short poem

“I Love You ” this was what she said to him
The riverside, green grass cover and moonlight dim
Waiting for “Yes” there she was bending down on her knees
It took her guts to ask, after all those friend’s tease

The next thing what happened was a “No” I can’t make a girl like you mine
For love is a feeling so divine
Look at yourself no one can ever have this feeling for you
Lot of beauties out there ,don’t you think its true?

Love never seemed so destructive to her
It was a thorn rather than that soft fur
Arrogance, temper and rudeness grew
She was taught that love is a thing to keep only with you.
