Dear Child Of Mine

Dear Child Of Mine short poem

Uploaded by Andrew Rouse

I hope one day you read this
I hope one day you see I was trying
I hope that I can be the dad that I haven’t gotten to be to you one day
I hope one day you’ll call me daddy
I hope one day I see you grow up and became a beautiful women
I hope one day this catches up too
It’s been two long years since I’ve seen your smile since you called me daddy
I hope one day the truth comes out that I tried to be there I tried to be the dad you need but your momma kept you away from me it’s been two years now
I hope one day you see how much you mean too me
I hope one day you see how much I cared and how much I love And miss you
One day you read this poem letter and see I’m not the bad man your momma makes me out to be
I hope one day by the grace of God you be in my arms again and I be holding your hand taken you to whatever you do growing up
I hope one day you see me and be proud to say that’s my daddy
