Encore sonnet poems

Night, oh playwright, to the soul’s loneliness
I quest every line, beneath your cover
One to recite, for heart’s harmonious
So my part may be played — with another
But stages, — life — dropped her encore curtain
How heavied a weight, the props of fate fell
And though the plot, and story uncertain
I bid light, and leading lady… farewell
Be aware in grand imagination
That I have written you of verse, and song
To a musical in God’s creation
As for the show I must go on, and on…
Alone I perform — no face in the crowd
Till nght’s curtain is drawn, to take a final bow
