Where Do We Go?

Where do we go from here?
faceless ones causing death,
what do they hope to gain?
by creating all this pain.
Is the cause so great,
in this head full of hate,
to maim and kill a child,
does this make them great.
In the dark of a tunnel,
a child in fear screams ,
into the dark drawn like a funnel,
escape to what lies ahead.
Tears shed again for lives lost,
hate again rears its head,
blame spread far and wide,
lets stand together side by side.
Faceless, nameless men who hate,
killing and murdering in a cowards guise,
running away from dirty work,
are they right, are they wise?
Obedience for a false dawn,
dreams of everlasting life,
at the expense of others souls,
thieves that come in the dark.
They dont know what they do,
mindless action fed untruth,
doing the work without question,
forgive them, so hard to do.
Where then do we go from here,
living a life of nervous fear,
along the road towards our goal,
remembering those who are no longer here.
