Scrutiny’ Truth

Scrutiny Truth short poem

You close your ears
I’ll close my eyes
Maybe we’ll make it through
This life filled with lies

No one’s to blame
No need for shame
Everyone knows this
Is all just a game

With your habits
With my disposition
Life for us has become
A state of deception

What about an end
With no regrets
We would each walk away
And just forget

No more anger
No longer doubt
We need to accept
That this hasn’t worked out

Goodbye to monotony
So long to boredom
Admit it , we both ,
Deserve our freedom

I've come to write poetry quite late in live actually, but now I seem to have words and rhyme flow from my fingertips. I can write everyday and feel inspired by comments to push myself to try different forms and styles and not just write out one type of poem.More an eclectic bunch I would say, almost always with a positive groove!!

Just like mantises, hurrying to finish his last embrace, so to be taken by the husks of his beloved; Like a butterfly, flying to the sun, but hunted by a pale lamb hanging on the dust of the road; Like
