Lost Love

I really thought I loved you,
I actually thought you cared
I wish you had told me,
But I knew you wouldn’t dare

I wish I didn’t love you,
I wish I never cared
The remains of my pride,
Drift wistfully through the air

You sucked me in,
With me following, bright-eyed
But when I got close enough,
You threw me aside

Why did I love you,
Why did I get my hopes up
All you ever told me,
Was that I was a screw-up

What’s wrong with me,
Why wasn’t I good enough
Do you really think she’s the one,
Is it because i’m not tough

You said to me,
There were girls in the past
You didn’t tell me you were still dating them
I always knew it wouldn’t last

I wish we’d never met,
I spent all that time thinking about you
I would never have done that,
If I knew you didn’t feel that too

If I could turn back time,
I’d erase you from my memory
I’ve only known you a year,
But it feels like a century

The world around us reminds me,
Of all the times we spent
But these times have joyfully,
Come to an end

You said you didn’t love her,
That I was the one
Now that I know the real you,
You and me are done

You gave me empty promises,
And when hope was lost,
You abandoned me by myself,
Leaving me to pay the cost

You can be good and evil,
Equally well
You are half hero,
Half hell

I hate you,
You gave my feelings a shove
Whatever you might say,
What we had was not… love.

Lost Delights Of Mine

Lost Delights Of Mine short poem

Lost delights of mine, leave me not in unknown ways And all of our dandled days in my fortune’s hand Winder cold wails the wrong of death delays When cold wind blows into my desert sands She has turned within

An Love Agony At 10:30

An Love Agony At 10:30 short poem

At 10:30, Silence Dispersed, every edge withdrew with dark, The moon was pale, still brightening as diamond spark, At the tree, an owl hoot, at surface dogs barked. Sudden, I heeded, the sound of footsteps was appearing from the street, exulted

Love Is

Love Is long poem

Love is It is not just doing what crosses your mind without thinking about it or doing things just to look good It is much more bringing a genuine smile in the face of a child or truly promising that

Lost Passion

Lost Passion short poem

Alone and unwanted. Unnecessary and useless. Unable to satisfy. In need of replacing. The heat of the moment. Now died down. Left unfeeling. Mind still racing. A touch once hot. The passion now gone. No longer needed. No more devoured.
