What Life Is All About

What Life Is All About prose poem

Uploaded by Sakshi Pandey

Have you ever thought, what Life is all about?
Going through the sacred books and various philosophical tales,
Here is the conclusion I drew:
Life is all about taking risks,
Life is all about joining dots,
Completion of one task is the beginning of the other,
Here, there is only one rule – “what you do is what you get.”
Sow the seeds of poison and poison you will harvest,
That’s why the sages told us to be fair.
Life is not a war itself,
But a battlefield where various wars are fought by us.
Life is not a bed of roses neither a path full of thorns,
Life is what you make of it,
Life is what you are.
Here you have to give away what you have in order to get what you want,
Like a farmer sacrifices his seeds in order to get a field full of crops.
So never fear losing,
Never give up when you fall.
A bird falls many times when it learns the skill of flying,
A time comes when its wings get the taste of the sky,
And the bird rises high.
Always listen to your heart,
Follow your dreams with faith,
And FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU WANT.
