Broken bottles and shattered pieces of glass Used up polybags tossed on the grass Once, tress towered high above Trunks bared professed love
Birds chirped from the sights unseen But now all gone ! paper joined pollutions team
Vehicles pumping out black fumes And burning of fossil fuels still resumes Now, noting much more but a gaseous state of knife And this the air that’s supposed to sustain life?
No one can be blamed for pollution alone One will reap what they have sown So let’s plant a better seed Tear pollution’s old roots and remove its weed You can take a small step cause ‘Cause pollution is waiting at our doorstep So protect what has been given for free Our water, skies , wildlife and trees
And then you will live with no fear Blue skies, crystal water, everything clear Stars will shine bright again And not dimmed and obscured by pollution’s fame
