I turned,by chance
you raised your eyes and
two worlds that never met
saw the other side
both wondering
who’s that
that froze my time
both pondering
what was that
that caught the mind
we realised
our wants were the same
oh goodness
you blew mind
I know not why
in the midst of a crowd
if I see you
then it is only you ,and
your eyes
no other guy
and I know it is also with you
but then why not
we start a talk
and then why not
we know our names
may be it is not the need
may be because
your presence alone is so sweet
and only I want is to feel it grow
when cleverly you increase your steps
to be near me at your best
oh,I like this gesture
and I know you know it too
and that’s why, I know
you do that
yes you do
I can smell this new whiff of passion
this whiff of want
that is so deep
lightens my heart
let this continue itself
till infinite
and be untouched
by the forgetfulness of time….

Like An Old Song

Like An Old Song short poem

Walking in mental fog, you become a swaying tree. In mistiness one becomes lonely like a blackbird. Hollyhocks would wait, till the sun comes out. December rain brings the gift― of sleet on lips. ————————————– Walking in mental fog, you

Like Gold

Like Gold short poem

The man of her life treats her like gold, So she cries Because she knows Her secrets would break him inside And would crush his soul, So to protect him she lies As her secrets are something that she holds
