Sonnet For Jessitha

In the arms of love, A beautiful untold story
A loud silence that broke every barrier,
The askance of the heart and its myriad worry
Sojourning the barren mirth to make life merrier.

Love’s wings summoned the romantist from Canada
To the doorstep of his petite lady love clad in American attires,
Only to hear her overwhelmed heartbeat in silent tears
Precious moment to cherish greater than all the gold of Nevada.

As phoenix the damsel’s heart took new birth
From brokenness to hope, to a destiny of independence,
To carve her glory with the wisdom of defeat and truth
As her deepest passions began to amble the boulevards of ebullience.

Heart in heart with the man Christened Kolb Jesse,
A raging dream stilled in wedlock, standing tall an angelic Nikki.

The night that breeds dark clouds of rankling dolour Within azure sky of my mind’s great earth, Delusive affection of thine enlivened fervour, Of joy of life and lustre triggers dearth. Thou rememb’rest those fragrant ways trodden, Back i’th’ longest
