Sleepless Night

Sleepless Night short poem

With the brightness of Sun shading away
Today is slipping away into yesterday

With darkness hovering deep over the skies
Tonight is inching towards tomorrow

Deep into slumber are the birds, the creatures,
the animals so also the roads, the colony and the
entire city barring you still awake disturbed and
tormented over the lost rejected love

Realise fast, the life is too precious to allow yourself to get
washed away in flood of emotion and disappointment

Better understand the sun has to set in order to rise
so also the moon has to rise after setting out

Bare in mind some day it is cloudy , some day it is shiny
but still the Sun hovers around the whole day giving us light

Know this better some nights are milky white, some nights
twinkling diamond and some nights are cloudy and dark
but still the whole night is cool and calm

Set Yourself in the path of the Sun and Moon
Always care for the one who loves you and dare for the
one who rejects you .

your life will surely be as bright as Sun and as cool as moon

A silence on the night. The day fluttered quietly in whisper soft resonance, So many colours slowly dying Like confetti in the rain, And echoes touched each other, a reunion of themselves, As though they were astounded At their resonating

Kindled Night

Kindled Night short poem

Put off the lantern. I am waiting for the moon’s primal face. The lesser flamingoes were going to shed the pink color. Nude as a python, the kiss of pomegranates, kills by asphyxiation. I suffer in the hands of protests.

Night Raid

Night Raid short poem

It was night sin of domesticity. Dyed, I am loading the white secret of pain in the hollow of a mayhem. Till every blunder takes a downward flight striping the outsized image of a kill. His flames are now singeing
