Little Do You Know

Little Do You Know short poem

little do you know
that I’ve given you my heart.
that I’m ready, and prepared,
for if you tear it apart.
little do you know
that I think of you at night.
that I wish you were here,
and that things were alright.
little do you know
that I’m going insane.
that I’m in withdraw from your eyes,
the drugs that take way my pain.
little do you know
that there’s no “somebody new”.
that you are all that I wish for, and all that I wish for is you.
little do you know
that I urge to grab my phone.
that I only want to hear your voice,
each time that I’m alone.
little do you know
that the world can be so cruel,
that it’ll strip away the one you love, and leave you like a fool.
little do you know,
that maybe I know little, too;
but that little, do you know,
will never describe my love for you.
