Black Lives Matter

Black Lives Matter short poem

Uploaded by Yen Abetew

It just took only one look to all cook on Facebook.
That they’re all shook.
Life is a chess game so I retook what they took just my rook.
This ain’t fair how I’m the one on welfare.
And in warfare.
So Told them of my nightmare with no care.
They couldn’t not compare.
They’re chidish and need daycare.
So they all stare unaware.
No Mayer they need prayer.
It’s real rare.
To hear the truth for some weird square.
Repair, beware or get a spare.
I swear life will always be unfair.

The world is a race If you want to succeed, pick up your pace Keep running, focus, put in extra hours, fly solo But doesn’t this make you feel empty and hollow? Be yourself, be silly, be alive, spread joy
