Human Paradox

Human Paradox short poem

Uploaded by Prìÿā Śįngh

Life, at times, is full of irony,
People talk roses but their deeds reap weeds..
Oh yeah! On one hand they pretend to be mascot of peace,
On the other hand they don’t hesitate to suffocate anyone else’s speech.
On one hand, they preach eradication of hatred,
On the other hand they are not ashamed to rain on anyone else’s parade.
Do self-proclaimed ambassadors of sanity justify the paradox of trampling down others’ dignity?
Ain’t we all child of the same soil, or won’t reside in its deepest layer one day?
Then why our blood boils at each other, emanating only despair ?
Wonder what’s polluting our values and infecting our soul?
What’s drifting us away from humanity to culminate into a troll?
Don’t blame your surroundings; this demon is deep inside us, impairing our senses and driving us envious
It is too eminent to be ignored,
It is not some random ailment that can be cured,
It is infiltrating our thoughts and whatever we say or do,
We can soldier on with our positivity to earn friends and not foes!
Practice humility to receive the same, let virtues level-up the game.
