Darkness short poem

These days I feel
The darkness of the night sky
is better to survive
than the light
of the brightest star.

I can feel a change
within myself,
I am drawn towards
the dark more often
it gives me immense
pleasure and bliss.

Because light reveals
my plainness and
the scars engraved in my skin
remind me of the brutality
and injustice
I once had to undergo.

Darkness is a dear friend,
it has been keeping
me a deep secret
away from the bustling city
for quite a long time now.

I love the four walls of my room
I often stay here.
It is dark,
no sun rays have ever reached here.
A curse for the world,
forever a blessing upon me.

When I look back the silent darkness I had left in the deep woods a long ago where I had planted few seeds of my memories to grow but I found those seeds grown with thorns of exasperation and annoyance
