Beyond Time

Beyond Time short poem

The love I feel for you
Keeps shining within me
Like a steady flame
Burning bright
Sustaining me and
Keeping me warm
On memories
Of love shared….
Glowing and lighting up
The dark and stormy
Ways of my life…
Holding on
To the thought
That I too was loved
….By you….
Though for a little while….

But what does time matter?
I’ve lived my fantasies
And my dreams have come true…
I’ve lived my life
In the moments
Stolen with you…
Moments more perfect
Than a whole lifetime…
Moments… when
My life stood still
….and went on forever….
Moments….. without
Any past…. Or
Any future…..
Yet binding us together
Through time and eternity……
