For Joe

For Joe ballad

Uploaded by Canullia Quest

Leave it to Luck-
Life’s Cupid to pair-
a Dalia and a Joe!
Screen on, it’s a date!
First a hi and a smile-
then came the rendezvous!
Take a walk with me said charm-
aye said wit lit with ecstacy!
As they bantered their  way
down their winding memory lane-
Sweetness fell for sincerity!
Lost in honesty and depth-
Hours went on without a bellow!
Philosophy and trivia offhandedly-
were the heroes of the night!
They were partners in a crime-
punishable by disappointment-
and loneliness yet skyed with music!
Realizing time was an enemy-
they wished age didn’t end their spree!
And as they danced endlessly –
not a moment of silence was to follow!
Can it be this lock has found its key?
One that is so true, I call him Joe!
