Finally We Can See

Finally We Can See short poem

I accept my flaws,
I forgive myself,
I forgive my imperfections,
both real and perceived.
I gaze at me with love.
I learn to appreciate my goodness.
So what if it is fragmented.
I embrace myself
and I say,” I am worthy.”
I let go of all the baggage
filling my heart with love and hope.

Now, when I look at you,I see me.
I accept your flaws,
I forgive you,
I forgive your imperfections
both real and perceived.
I gaze at you with love.
I appreciate your goodness.
So what if it is fragmented.
I embrace you and say, “You are worthy.”
You can let go of all the baggage,
fill your heart with love and hope.
Take a good look at yourself.
Now, do you see me?
