The Soul Riders

Your mane frolics,
As wind rushes by,
With hooves of wonder,
As if it were to fly.

Behold!

A Beauty so,
Equine!
And a Beauty so,
Divine!

O’er the lush green,
Under the brilliant skies,
Through the hollow woods,
Thy soul cries.

I knew,
A fable to be told,
An endless journey,
To unfold.

As You carry me,
Along with You,
Through distant lands,
On washing sands,
Across the blue,
And Irish isles too.

But…

To stand against him,
The very incarnation of blaze,
As I,
Gaze.

Fate has brought me,
For I’m the sister,
Of four,
Guardians of “Her”,
Aideen.

It is Her who hath created,
This enchanted paradise,
And it is him,
The vice,
Who brings chaos,
To our home.

“O! Great Bravebird,
Shall Thou be my ‘bond’?
As We shall conquer him,
With my wand.”

By the guidance of
Avalon,
And your virtue,
Our wishes may come true,
The devil may be gone,
But not for long…

Will call forth,
The millennia,
Of a Thousand wars,
On Our soil.

Her Very Soul Is Shared

Her Very Soul Is Shared long poem

At the weekend she’ll go back again to walk barefoot on ferns and then through flickering green mosaics where sunlight never burns she’ll wander wisp tossed shadowed lanes of timeless peace rimmed hours where emerald rain drops sprinkle from sky
