The First Taste Of Love

The First Taste Of Love short poem

Uploaded by Antresa John

The first taste of love is always so sweet
A wonderful time, we share our honest moments
The longing one feels to see each other
Makes the heart to race and skip a beat
The first taste of love is so tender
So plentiful to fill your life’s desire
The feelings that each share with warmth
Melts the frost around you forever.
The first meeting is so special that one remembers
To ease our feelings if any bitter occurs
Waking up each day, every now and then
Each tries to yearn that feeling of love they share
One sees the world sparkle when beside each other
Stars of love sparkle and tremble in their eyes
Morning, evening or afternoon it maybe
Even within their dreams till the end
It’s an eternal starry sky of love
The first taste of love ever so sweet
Sweetens even the bitterness in life
To love each other and share sorrows
On finds to be fallen in love
The first love that never fades from heart
Is sweet to remember if eternal
Same time is bitter when broken apart
As its feeling never fades away……
Even if one tries to forget….

Fail In Love short poem

She was a traveling soul. The galaxy resting above her nose. I’d sit & stare. Wondering where the stars would go next. Both young & in love I let go. Tracing together swirls of color. The planets all together aligned.
