My Hustle

Staring in the mirror searching for hope
Feeling only doubt and a complete lack of control
My soul reaching out looking for a way out of this hole
Even on this path, my dreams are so difficult to grab a hold

But one thing I do know is I can’t turn back now
Fighting the voice of uncertainty, pushing forward the best way I know how

Anxiety fills the room as my reflection smiles
My heart is cold but I know this is only a trial

A period in my life, if I handle correctly will cause growth
One step at a time and focus directly on my goal

It is a slow and hard road but it is mine
No one understands, but my perseverance will brightly shine in time

This is my life, this is my path, and this is my struggle
Following the light, filtering out the trash, its time to hassle
