In my mind,
The deadly sin
Is to not care
About what’s within

In this day and age,
Everything is artificial
People look so fake,
And they act superficial

It’s implanted into our brains,
That we have to conceal
That girls have to look pretty,
And that boys can’t feel

Nobody really cares,
You could be smart as hell
But if you’re not pretty,
No-one can tell

It’s stupid, really
The ones we are always trying to be
Are the ones who are stupid, mean
Oh why can’t people see
