Angels And Demons

Angels And Demons short poem

The chord struck again
Without any desire, the tears did rain.
Unable to find why,
The angels did solace.
But, the inner demons smirked hysterically, “Oh! what did you gain?”.

If empathy is what you want , It is lame!
Said the demons.
The angels countered that with a Name, with regard.
And unraveled a cavity, with ease.
The Demons reverted saying: “Dismiss”!

The angels still fortified,
Let it come and go by,
It is a phase and it shall ply.
Although, if ‘you’, my dear, can Omit
Please Do by!

The demons accorded in silence.
