Finding her

Finding her short poem

I saw her walking down the long winding road
I felt her rustling among the leaves
She merrily sprinted on the green-brown branches
She felt the moist clouds on her finger tips

I felt her running through my veins
I felt her make my world go around
She made my dreams beautiful
She made me smile at every moment that passed by

I saw her filling my world with haze
I saw her drinking the dew off the leaves
She made the grass under my feet shiver
She made the rainbow in the sky my crown

I felt like a queen beside her
I felt her like my princess beside me
She brought me dreams, faith and hope
She brought me colours to paint them

I held the brush dipped in rose
To find it painted black
I turned around to look for her
I saw her walking away on that long winding road

She has deserted me to walk her path alone
I hear the rustle among the leaves but it is not her
I do not see her sprinting on the branches
She does not reach the moist clouds

Her colours have turned the shades of grey
The brush I hold has withered away
I look for her in every moment that passes-by
In every night in every dream

All I have is sorrow and pain
And the wait on the long winding road
All wait for you to fill them with colours
I hope to find her someday, my precious Innocence

Outside my rain pours, inside your heart weeps More than a breathe in your mistress reeks Girdle me all along, I wanna divest in your cape Where I can probe for the measures of your step The day you assert,
