Silently Sobbing

Silently Sobbing short poem

Uploaded by Trudie Kroon

Sobbing silently
You had slipped away
I needed you now
Sadness grew
My heart is empty
With a perfect smile
A mask to the world
I close the door
Hoping it won’t leave a trace
The ghost of the past still dancing
Images that I can’t let go
Of the happy times we shared
The hours we cared
Life went on
With you not there
I still needed you
My heart is empty
And sadness still there
Lost and alone
I silently weep
Of a love I lost
I just can’t bear
I need you here
Wiping my tears

I don't think I one of the best poets out their. Knot even sure if I can call myself a poet. What my writing brings to me is healing from pain, get a better way of dealing with life. In the end its a way of medicine to me. For others that read it I hope it brings some healing or understanding in their own life. Make them see they knot alone.

Silently Pray short poem

Hear me Lord as I pray Going out on patrol today Weapons loaded, gear on my back I am ready for any attack Walking through towns on patrol Ready for a fight to unfold Hear me Lord as I silently
