Greening The Blue

Our earth with waters blue
Gives mankind a hidden clue
Of the tragic end that’d be true
For all creation a dreadful hue.

You heard the silent cries of earth
That echo deep within your heart
Pricked seemingly as a dart
But you say you never heard?

Wake up from your sleep mankind
Please don’t hinder so behind
That when your horrid destiny you find
No soul would be to you so kind.

Look at the green getting so less
On the globe that you possess
Doesn’t this give you stress
To find your planet in distress.

Had your heart a soft one been
Our earth would have been splendid green
Are you still so very mean;
As to not turn the blue to green?
